City Infrastructure Projects

Information on current and upcoming infrastructure projects

1. NW Johnston Drive & Merle Hay Road

   This project involves the reconfiguration and reconstruction of Merle Hay Road and NW Johnston Drive intersection from the north edge of Beaver Creek Bridge north to approximately NW 55th Avenue.

2. NW 100th Street Reconstruction

   This reconstruction project is scheduled for three proposed stages. Once completed, it will allow better traffic flow for motorists.

3. NW 107th Street Overlay

Traffic Study

This citywide traffic study will provide an evaluation of traffic congestion with a focus on the safety and operations of the arterials and intersections across the city.

Parks & Trails Improvements

1. Dog Park

2. Crown Point Pickleball/Tennis Courts

   The replacement of the existing tennis courts will allow for new tennis and pickleball courts to be added.

3. Crown Point Community Center Renovation

   The renovation will improve the space and better serve our community with our recreation needs.

Sidewalk repair, replacement and construction

This program will identify gaps in existing sidewalks to improve connectivity and safety within our community.

1. Sidewalk Ramp Replacement

   The ramp replacements will take seven years to complete. These pedestrian ramps will help ensure our city is ADA-compliant.

2. Sidewalk Repair Program

   This program is replacing or fixing the sidewalks within our community. This program is a seven-year process to ensure all communities have upgraded sidewalks for everyone to enjoy.

Stormwater Utility Projects

1. Crescent Chase Drainageway

   The project is located west of NW 86th Street and north of Crescent Chase adjacent to the Crescent Chase Apartments and Stonepointe Townhomes.

2. Harbor Oaks/Longboat Storm Drainage Improvements

   This project is located in the Harbor Oaks Estates Subdivision at the end of Harbor Oaks Drive and Theresa Drive, both outlets of which drain to the same channel.

1. NW 100th Street - NW 54th Avenue to NW 62nd Avenue

   The project includes reconstruction of NW 100th Street from north of NW 54th Avenue to south of NW 62nd Avenue. The south limits begin where the multi-lane pavement starts and the north limits end at the multi-lane pavement south of NW 62nd Avenue. The improvements will include construction of a 4-lane divided urban PCC roadway section, replacement of water main, multi-use trail and storm sewer along the corridor
